#45 Moderns, royal blue glaze, 6/4 hole set, small impressed mark, oval “o” on both pieces. Production period 1939-1942. Both pieces also have a hand inscribed “45” mold number in the clay highlighted here with talc. At this late date Frankoma still has not standardized the use of the "H" for salt and peppers. Note shallow recess dating the piece to after the fire of 1938..
